In 2008 over 8,000 people in Central Florida received direct assistance from Family Emergency Services. You can partner with FES by volunteering or donating canned goods to supply the food pantry. During summer months, the food pantry shelves run low. Here are some immediate needs.
Donations accepted Monday-Friday from 9a.m. to 5p.m. You can donate at any of our three locations in West Orange, Winter Park or Downtown Orlando. You can also make a financial donation at www.christianservicecenter.org Is your church or family looking for summer volunteer opportunities? Consider volunteering at the Christian Service Center. The Center has three locations in the Central Florida area; find out which one is closest to you and make plans to volunteer with your family or church group. The Christian Service Center feeds nearly 600 people every day! Volunteers play a vital part in the daily operation of the center. me" The Christian Service Center is a private, non-profit service agency which, since 1971, has provided the hurting of our community with programs designed to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The Center is supported by area churches, businesses, civic organizations, foundations, and individuals. Millions have been served regardless of race, religion, financial status, or the nature of their need.
