Dear Central Florida community,Right not there are thousands upon thousands who are hurting and hungry – both here at home and across the globe. This Soup ’R Sunday, February 7, 2010, we are asking your congregation, your household and your workplace to help your neighbors who are in need by donating a canned good to the Christian Service Center.
Cans of soup along with any canned goods and nonperishable items will be donated directly to the Christian Service Center and distributed to partnering Haitian relief efforts both near and far, as well as local food pantries.
As the 2009-10 football season closes in on the top teams in the NFL and we anticipate the annual excitement that it brings, the Christian Service Center challenges you to step up to the line and be a hero in your community.
Collected items can be dropped off directly at the Christian Service Center located at 808 West Central Blvd. Churches and organizations should call in advance to schedule a pick up for large loads.
Please complete the enclosed participation form and find the enclosed flyer for your use as posters and/or bulletin stuffers to spread the word as you collect cans!
