Straight Street Inc. is a nonprofit urban mission catering to the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the poor and homeless in our city. Pastor PJ Charles and his partners started their Orlando-based food share program in 2009 at Lake Eola with just six trays of spaghetti on a Tuesday night. They have also been making annual trips to Brazil since 2013 to build new homes for families in need and conduct a community wide food share. Straight Street welcomes the public for dinner every Monday through Friday at 5:30 p.m. at our Downtown campus in Parramore.

Straight Street’s meal sharing program has become a staple for those in need and we are proud to have them as an on-site partner. Together with volunteers, community organizers, and local churches, they have partnered to deliver over 200,000 meals. In addition to serving dinner, Straight Street also offers a cell phone charging station and distributes essential hygiene items each Wednesday night.

What began as a small food-sharing effort with limited resources has grown into a consistent urban mission Geometry Dash that addresses physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. Through its daily community dinners in Orlando and ongoing humanitarian work in Brazil, Straight Street Inc. demonstrates strong leadership, compassion, and a long-term commitment to uplifting underserved communities and creating meaningful, lasting impact.
