Straight Street Inc. is a nonprofit urban mission catering to the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the poor and homeless in our city. Pastor PJ Charles and his partners started their Orlando-based food share program in 2009 at Lake Eola with just six trays of spaghetti on a Tuesday night. They have also been making annual trips to Brazil since 2013 to build new homes for families in need and conduct a community wide food share. Straight Street welcomes the public for dinner every Monday through Friday at 5:30 p.m. at our Downtown campus in Parramore.

Straight Street's meal sharing program has become a staple for those in need and we are proud to have them as an on-site partner. Together with volunteers, community organizers, and local churches, they have partnered to deliver over 200,000 meals. In addition to serving dinner, Straight Street also offers a cell phone charging station and distributes essential hygiene items each Wednesday night.
