From Blueprint to Blessing

The renovations to our Downtown Orlando campus are humming along, and we are excited to share that our new courtyard is now complete! Designed as the first place guests will enter when they arrive at the Christian Service Center, the courtyard offers a welcoming space where people can gather, wait for services, or find relief from the heat beneath a large canopy equipped with industrial fans.

Guests are already putting the new space to use throughout the day, whether they are resting, connecting with others, or securely charging their phones at our new charging station. Once renovations are complete later this year, the courtyard will lead directly into our new Guest Services Center where people can sign up for showers, laundry, and other day services. A serving window will also connect the courtyard to our new warming kitchen, making hot meals available throughout the day.

Just steps from the new courtyard, guests are already receiving healthcare in our new clinic. People can make appointments or walk right into the clinic to receive primary care and wound treatment from Orange Blossom Family Health, counseling and behavioral assessments from IMPOWER, and a range of other services provided by our growing list of partners including HIV testing, hearing exams, and patient education.

The completion of the courtyard marks another milestone in the transformation of our campus, and we look forward to sharing more updates in the months ahead.
