HELP TACKLE HUNGER IN 2020!
Start the New Year off right by taking part in Souper Sunday.
This January, while many of us are stuffing our faces watching football during the college bowl series and NFL playoffs, thousands of people in Central Florida won’t even have a can of soup to eat!
You can help change that and give them hope during “Souper Sunday!" Our largest food drive of the year, Souper Sunday restocks our depleted food pantry shelves so we can continue to feed hungry neighbors and the working poor who are struggling to make ends meet.
Simply collect nonperishable food items and basic hygiene products, then deliver them by Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, the day of the Big Game. During Souper Sunday last year, we received more than 20,000 food items! Can your church, office, or family help us match or even top that in 2020?
Get your church, your coworkers, and friends into the game against hunger, and start collecting January 1 -February 2.
LET US KNOW YOU'RE PARTICIPATING!
Fill out the short Registration form below so we know you’re participating.
Ask your church members, co-workers and friends to bring in a can of soup or other nonperishable food item to a designated collection site of your choice on or before Sunday, February 2 (day of the Big Game).
On Monday, Feb. 3 (or week of), deliver your collected items to one of the Christian Service Center’s three locations, or call us to schedule a pick up (with over 300 items).
SHORT ON TIME TO SHOP?
Throw the ball to us, and we'll do the shopping. We purchase food at reduced prices through partners like Second Harvest Food Bank. For every $1 received, we can purchase 3 cans of soup.
