THE LAST NIGHT INITIATIVE
The need just got more urgent. Here’s how you can help.
Each night in Central Florida, hundreds of people face the cold and dark without a place to sleep. This holiday season, the crisis deepens. Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, the USDA has confirmed that SNAP benefits (food stamps) have stopped being issued as of November 1. Millions of families across the country will lose access to food support overnight, many right here in our community.
That’s why the Christian Service Center is launching The Last Night Initiative, a bold, city-wide movement to end homelessness in Central Florida. It begins with urgent action: Stock the Night.

INTRODUCING STOCK THE NIGHT
Stock the Night is our new food drive that replaces the “Blue Bags” drive and meets this moment of crisis head-on. Help us make sure no one goes to sleep hungry, cold, or forgotten.
If you’re able, please give today or help us Stock the Night this holiday season. Together, we can make this the last night anyone sleeps outside.
