In partnership with Orange County, the Christian Service Center is helping 60 households secure much-needed housing vouchers through the Orange County Housing Authority. These “HOME-ARP” vouchers provide monthly rental assistance for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness, with priority given to those fleeing domestic violence, large families, and seniors.
Our goal is to house 150 individuals within the first two years, and we’re proud to report that 98 people have already been housed in just the first six months! But
housing is just the beginning. Each client is paired with a dedicated case manager to help overcome barriers and work toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Our wraparound services include job training, GED classes, access to technology, financial literacy and budgeting support, mental health counseling, and more.
